Solaris

Solaris is a certified Unix operating system produced by Sun Microsystems. Solaris uses the X Server for a windowing system and does not have very good Java support (which is curious since Sun makes Java...) Solaris runs on SPARC, ULTRA-SPARC, x86, x86_64, and Itanium processors. Solaris is advertised by Sun as being the most advanced operating system in the world, however, from a professional standpoint, it is nearly impossible to quantify any claim to that nature due to the complex-by-definition nature of any operating system.
