[edit] Linux vs GNU/Linux
Now that a part of the article talks about the OS instead of just the kernel, maybe a separate page, called GNU/Linux, should be made. It makes sense even more so on a technical site, where people might be looking for information specifically about the kernel. But that'd make for two very small articles, so the split should probably happen later, when/if there's more content.
- I actually went back and forth in my mind with this issue a few weeks ago. "Linux" is common lingo for referring to the whole OS. But being technical we should make a clear distinction. When the article gets longer I'll split it. I'll make sure the distinction is clear at the top of each page so everyone can easily jump to the opposite article. --Matt 10:28, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
